
2024 Gyeongnam Tourism Startup MICE Academy (Gyeongnam Tourism Business Support Center)
This time, we’d like to introduce the practical tourism and MICE marketing training held at Gyeongnam Tourism Business Support Center.
This lecture, held in Changwon, was designed for marketing practitioners in the tourism and MICE industries, providing an opportunity to learn practical strategies.
Last year, we conducted digital marketing training for small business owners in Gyeongju,
and this year, we also participated in a beneficial program with practitioners from the Gangwon Tourism Organization.
Through these diverse educational opportunities, we are accumulating practical experience in marketing.
Additionally, the Korea MICE Association has given us the opportunity to lecture annually,
allowing us to provide more in-depth education based on our diverse experiences.
In this lecture, we focused on promotional strategies,
and covered marketing strategies applicable to large corporations, SMEs, and small business owners.
Initially, I thought the marketing approaches for large and small businesses would differ significantly,
but ultimately, I realized the core is understanding customer needs.
After analyzing the channels where customers converge, it’s crucial to implement appropriate marketing strategies.
To this end, we discussed marketing on blogs, YouTube, Google, and various social media platforms.
The reason this training received positive feedback was because we were able to immediately grasp the needs of the participants on-site.
Since it’s not easy for participants to openly express their needs in the domestic educational environment,
we opened anonymous real-time surveys or KakaoTalk chat rooms to gather feedback and immediately applied it to the lecture.
Thanks to this real-time communication, participant satisfaction was very high,
and we also had the opportunity to take commemorative photos with the participants after the lecture. Many participants were satisfied with the lecture and agreed to take photos,
and I also had a rewarding time.
