2024: International Buyer Discovery Strategies for SMEs
Recently, an important training session was held for SMEs preparing for export.
At the Export Capability Enhancement Training hosted by the Korea SMEs and Startups Agency (KOSME),
we covered a topic of great interest to many SMEs: “Cost-Effective International Buyer Discovery Strategies”.
This training received significant interest, especially from corporate representatives eager to systematically learn global marketing strategies and buyer discovery methods.
This was because it primarily covered practical insights and marketing trends targeting overseas markets that can be immediately applied in real-world scenarios.
What are the Key Strategies for Global Buyer Discovery?
As of 2024, one of the key strategies for discovering international buyers is to maximize the use of digital marketing tools.
By utilizing global advertising platforms like Google Ads or business networking sites like LinkedIn, you can connect with potential buyers more efficiently.
Since global buyers primarily search for products and services through Google, Search Engine Optimization (SEO) is an essential strategy.
Furthermore, technologies like Programmatic SEO have recently emerged.
Utilizing this technology allows for effective management of search engine exposure frequency and ranking, making it easier for international buyers to notice you.
In the past, due to information asymmetry, it was difficult for international buyers to find Korean companies, but now various solutions have emerged to overcome these challenges.
The Lecture that Received Enthusiastic Responses from Participants
Approximately 300 participants joined this training both online and offline,
creating a highly immersive atmosphere with active communication and feedback.
The instructor introduced practical tips that could be immediately applied in the field, helping participants significantly with buyer discovery.
During the lecture, real-time Q sessions were held,
and for necessary parts, materials like screen recordings were shared on the spot to maximize practicality.
Participants expressed great satisfaction, having gained useful materials and know-how that could be immediately applied in practice.
To help SMEs effectively enter the global market in the future,
we plan to continuously introduce new strategies and trends.
We hope that based on what they learned from this training, SMEs will succeed in the global market.
