Content Marketing Course for Beginner Creators (Gangwon Content Korea Lab)
Recently, I had the opportunity to deliver a content marketing lecture for beginner creators at Gangwon Content Korea Lab.
This lecture primarily focused on strategies for effective content marketing across various platforms, including blogs, YouTube, and Instagram.
Drawing on my past experiences, I aimed to provide practical advice and concrete examples,
striving to offer useful information that participants could genuinely apply.

Understanding the Value of Traffic
Many creators focus on the quantity of traffic, but what’s truly important is its quality and value.
For instance, a high number of daily visitors often doesn’t translate into actual revenue.
This is because the purpose of the visitors and the quality of the traffic were not considered.
The lecture detailed how to evaluate traffic value and convert it into revenue.
Content Strategy by Platform
Each platform has its unique characteristics and algorithms.
On YouTube, video watch time and viewer engagement are crucial, while for blogs, keyword optimization and post quality are key.
Instagram emphasizes visual content and hashtag strategy. The lecture specifically explained these platform-specific strategies and allowed participants to apply them through practical exercises.
Content Planning and Production
The process of planning and producing good content is extremely important.
We covered selecting content topics and storytelling techniques to effectively convey them.
Additionally, we emphasized the quality of images and videos, and the importance of titles and tags.
Participants had time to create content themselves and receive feedback.
Building a Scalable Business Model
To grow continuously as a creator, a stable revenue model is essential.
The lecture introduced various revenue models, such as fixed income, supplementary income, and system income, and discussed how to build them.
In particular, we highlighted non-physical sales methods like affiliate marketing, VOD lectures, and selling knowledge-based content.
