Gangwon Provincial Office Marketing Lecture (Social Media Promotion Strategy for Local Governments Based on Social Media Trends)

I would like to share a recap of the recent lecture on “2024 Social Media Promotion Strategy for Local Governments based on Social Media Trends”, held in Gangwon Special Self-Governing Province.
This special lecture was designed to quickly educate participants on the rapidly evolving online marketing trends.
Following the positive feedback from last year’s Strengthening Capabilities through Creator Marketing Education (Gangwon Special Self-Governing Province), we decided to hold an additional special lecture for social media practitioners in local governments.

The lecture began with an analysis of the current state of social media operations in the public sector, and then focused on social media trends and utilization strategies.
Specifically, the latest trends and algorithm changes of major platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube were explained in detail.
Participants were able to understand the characteristics and usage methods of each platform, and through this, learned how to create effective content.

In particular, the section on the differences and utilization strategies of short-form and long-form content garnered significant interest.
Emphasizing the advantages of rapidly consumed short-form content and the necessity of long-form content for in-depth information, practical exercises were conducted on how to appropriately utilize both forms of content.
Through this, participants realized the importance of diverse content formats and gained confidence in implementing them.

Furthermore, in the latter part of the lecture, the importance of monitoring tools and data analysis was emphasized.
Various monitoring tools, such as Naver Trends and Google Ads Keyword Planner, were introduced, and methods for utilizing them to identify target customer needs and establish effective marketing strategies were explained.
Participants were able to refine their promotion strategies based on insights gained from actual data analysis.

During the Q&A sessions held throughout the lecture, useful tips that could be immediately applied to practical work were shared by answering various questions from participants.
In particular, there were many questions regarding regulations and guidelines for social media usage in the public sector, and realistic advice based on practical experience was provided.

Through this lecture, many participants enhanced their understanding of social media marketing and received positive feedback that they learned practical strategies directly applicable to their work.
In particular, many responded that it was greatly helpful in quickly acquiring new trends and technologies and developing the ability to apply them in the field.

We will continue to provide such beneficial educational programs to help more companies and organizations keep up with the latest marketing trends and establish successful marketing strategies.
