GEO is an &#8216;Expansion Pack&#8217; built on top of SEO<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n<div style=\"height:30px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n<p>AI Search Visibility Optimization (GEO) is not a replacement for traditional SEO. Data supports this, showing that content appearing on the first page of Google has a more than 50% chance of being cited by GPT. <\/p>\n\n<p>To summarize:<br\/><br\/>&#8211; <strong>SEO<\/strong> is the foundation,<br\/><strong>&#8211; GEO<\/strong> is the expansion on top of it, and<br\/><strong>&#8211; AI Citation<\/strong> is the result.<br\/><br\/>Trying to do GEO without basic SEO is like trying to run a marathon without any physical conditioning.<\/p>\n\n<div style=\"height:30px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>2. The key to Global SEO is &#8216;Market Selection&#8217;<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n<div style=\"height:30px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n<p>While the domestic market has a population of 50 million, the English-speaking market reaches 1 to 1.5 billion people.<br\/>Global SEO is not just a translation task.<br\/><br\/>Global companies do not go all-in on an SEO strategy for a single country.<br\/>They test North America, Southeast Asia, and Europe with the same budget and then <strong>invest heavily in markets with the fastest ROI<\/strong>.<br\/>This approach is the biggest difference compared to Korean companies.<\/p>\n\n<div style=\"height:30px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>4. Two reasons why SEO fails<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n<div style=\"height:30px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n<p>At the end of the lecture, I gave some realistic advice to the participants.<br\/><br\/><strong>First is impatience.<\/strong><br\/>SEO is a structural battle that requires a perspective of at least 6 months to a year.<br\/>If you expect short-term results, it&#8217;s easy to give up halfway.<br\/><br\/><strong>Second is the lack of infrastructure.<\/strong><br\/>If a domain is less than a year old, the probability of ranking at the top is only about 4%.<br\/>The gap between companies starting from zero and those with existing infrastructure is more overwhelming than you might think.<\/p>\n\n<div style=\"height:30px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>7.
