
The trend in B2B marketing training is changing in 2023.
I had an insight after attending a marketing training session for KOTRA member companies.
At that time, I explained the tools I use for B2B marketing, and the response was surprisingly positive.
I realized that in the domestic B2B market, with the exception of some large corporations and global companies, tools are rarely used properly.
As time passed, the marketing-related tools available have evolved further, and in this lecture, I introduced a wider range of tools.
Beyond just CRM or marketing automation, I also introduced “email marketing” software that enables proper client-based marketing, and even tools to identify competitor traffic.
However, no matter how much technology evolves, “planning” remains the most crucial aspect.
I had the opportunity to hear about the marketing efforts the students had been undertaking.They had put in a lot of effort. Even without guidance, they were operating LinkedIn accounts and pursuing strategies to directly list products on famous overseas shopping malls.
However, despite their significant efforts, they haven't yet achieved visible results because they haven't grasped the broader trends in global marketing. While Naver dominates search market share in Korea, Google holds the highest share globally.
Therefore, even by properly implementing just a few strategies to expose content on Google, significant improvements can be made.
First, by utilizing several monitoring tools, analyze keywords that can generate customer inquiries,
and execute search-based “paid advertising” to achieve short-term results, while preparing for “Google search engine optimization” in the long term.
Of course, Google SEO can take quite some time if you consider the technical SEO that needs to be done initially,
but paid advertising can quickly yield results if you have a well-structured website.
In this lecture, we provided training on various tools for conducting international B2B marketing.
